Who we are

BWZ Energy & Infrastructure Ltd is an oil and gas pipeline contractor built on hands-on experience in pipeline and oil-rig construction — not just estimating from a desk. Under CEO Benjamin Williams Zack, our teams take on the physical, high-tolerance work operators need done right the first time.

We build and maintain oil and gas pipelines, construct drilling rigs and production facilities, weld and install large-diameter pipe, build compressor and pumping stations, and carry out the civil and site work that every oilfield build depends on.

We're not a paper contractor with subcontracted crews bolted on. BWZ is a field-first construction company — every project is scoped by people who've actually stood on a right-of-way, welded a joint, or walked a rig floor. Projects change, weather delays happen, and questions come up outside business hours, which is why our team offers 24/7 field dispatch for every active job site.

BWZ Energy & Infrastructure operates from three regional offices — Dallas, Texas (headquarters), Tampa, Florida, and Dubai, UAE — keeping crews close to the basins and operators that need them, across North America and the Gulf region.

Leadership

A CEO Who Started On The Rig Floor, Not In The Boardroom

Benjamin Williams Zack founded BWZ Energy & Infrastructure Ltd on a conviction he formed early in his career working pipeline and rig construction sites directly: the contractors who deliver the most reliable projects are the ones led by people who have actually done the work, not just scheduled it from a spreadsheet.

Before taking on the CEO role, Benjamin spent years in the field on pipeline and oil-rig construction crews, learning the trade from the ground up — right-of-way prep, pipe welding, rig erection, and the hundred small judgment calls that determine whether a project stays on schedule or slips. That field experience still shapes how BWZ bids and runs every job today: realistic timelines, honest scope conversations, and a refusal to promise a schedule the crew on the ground can't actually hit.

Under his leadership, BWZ has grown from a single-site pipeline crew into a multi-service contractor spanning pipeline construction, drilling rig and production facility builds, large-diameter welding, compressor and pumping station construction, and oilfield civil work — while holding onto the direct-hire, field-first model the company was built on.

Benjamin's approach to expansion has been deliberate rather than opportunistic: BWZ opened its Tampa office to serve Gulf Coast operators more directly, and its Dubai office to extend the same field-tested standards into Middle East infrastructure work, rather than chasing growth for its own sake. He continues to be directly involved in how BWZ scopes major projects, believing that an estimator who has never welded a joint or graded a well pad can't fully judge what a crew needs to succeed.

Safety & Workforce

Field crew reviewing safety procedures on site

HSE-First Field Operations

Every crew is trained to HSE protocol before mobilizing, on pipeline, rig, or station sites alike. We hold ourselves to the same safety standard operators expect on their own facilities — because a job only counts as done right if everyone goes home safe.

Our Crews

Certified welders, equipment operators, and civil crews staffed directly rather than pulled from a shifting subcontractor pool. That means consistency from mobilization to punch-list — the same standards and the same accountability on every project.
